We were asked by the president of Bisk to create a vehicle for launching the newest arm of his company. The video that my team and I created still gives me chills. Our music selection provides the viewer with a sense of uplifting energy and hearing Bisk's leader discuss his vision set to the amazing sights all over the world is something that is not easy to forget.

After our video was completed, we designed and built out the website to ensure exposure to the newly formed company.

Kobie Website Redesign

I spearheaded a multifaceted team comprising designers, developers, and project managers. Our primary goal was to enhance the platform’s usability and aesthetic appeal, particularly for content creators focused on publishing blogs, articles, and thought-pieces.

From conceptualization to launch, I meticulously managed the project's timeline and budget, ensuring seamless communication and coordination across all team members. The redesigned website successfully debuted on schedule and within the allocated financial resources.

Key improvements included an intuitive content management system that allows creators to effortlessly publish and manage their work. Additionally, we modernized the website's design, aligning it with current trends to significantly enhance user engagement and visual appeal. This project not only elevated the user experience but also fortified the website's position as a go-to resource in its industry.

Hike Experience Design

As a partner in an innovative venture, I played a crucial role in the development and launch of an educational tracking app tailored for students preparing for their college journey. Collaborating closely with the founder, I helped strategize and shape the overarching vision of the app, ensuring it effectively met the needs of its target audience — high school students

My involvement extended beyond strategy; I oversaw the design and development of the front-end components for both the website and the mobile app. This role required a deep focus on creating an engaging and intuitive user experience, which would empower students to manage their educational milestones and activities seamlessly.

In addition to my technical contributions, I also led the branding and marketing efforts. This encompassed crafting a compelling brand identity, orchestrating strategic marketing initiatives, and guiding the overall promotional activities to successfully position the app within the competitive educational technology market. My comprehensive leadership throughout the project ensured that the app was not only a tool for educational planning but also a robust platform that resonated well with its user base.

New York Life

At New York Life, I hold a pivotal role as the leader of the UX team, where I oversee a broad range of functions to enhance user experience across the organization's digital platforms. My responsibilities include leading user testing initiatives to ensure that our applications and systems meet the highest standards of usability and effectiveness. This involves designing and executing comprehensive testing protocols that gather critical feedback from users, which is then used to refine and optimize our digital offerings.

In addition to user testing, I am deeply involved in conducting design research. This research is crucial for understanding the needs and behaviors of our users, allowing us to create solutions that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional and user-centric. My work in this area ensures that our design strategies are data-driven and aligned with the latest trends in UX design.

Also leading areas of front-end development, I play a hands-on role in the implementation of these designs, turning research insights and user feedback into tangible outcomes. I develop and fine-tune the front-end aspects of our websites and applications, ensuring a seamless, engaging user experience that aligns with our brand's standards and expectations.

My role also extends to strategic communications with all levels of leadership within the organization. I regularly collaborate with senior executives to align our digital marketing and digital strategy with the company’s overall business goals. These interactions are crucial for securing buy-in and support for key projects, and they help bridge the gap between technical execution and strategic business objectives.

Overall, my work at New York Life encompasses a blend of leadership, technical expertise, and strategic communication, all aimed at pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve in the digital space while delivering exceptional value to our users and the organization.

This video showcases a collaborative approach to a partnership with LEGO, bringing to life the enchanting world of LEGO through a meticulously crafted loyalty narrative. I had the pleasure of steering this project from its inception to completion, a journey that involved an array of creative and technical disciplines.

The concept came from my strategy presentation, which aimed to harness the loyalty of LEGO's audience. From my strategy document, I built out the script, and developed detailed storyboards that mapped out each scene visually, ensuring a cohesive flow and engaging viewer experience. These storyboards served as a blueprint for the animation process, where I brought the LEGO characters and settings to life myself.

I also managed the project's strategy, carefully aligning the video's content and timing with broader promotional goals to maximize impact on our LEGO leadership audience.

Sound design was another area where I took the helm, creating all sound effects to complement the visual elements perfectly. Moreover, I performed all voiceovers, adding a personal touch that enhanced the narrative's authenticity and engagement.

The final product is not just a video but a complete journey that celebrates creativity and storytelling through the medium of LEGO. This project stands as a testament to the power of integrated artistic and strategic planning in producing compelling content that captivates and inspires audiences.

SuiteGig

SuiteGig, an innovative AI-driven project management app, is my entrepreneurial brainchild, conceived to revolutionize the way teams interact and manage projects. From its inception, I spearheaded the development of the app, ensuring that every phase of its journey was meticulously crafted to meet the needs of modern teams.

Strategy and Vision: The founding of SuiteGig began with a comprehensive strategy that defined the app's core functionalities and its AI capabilities. My vision was to create a tool that not only facilitates efficient project management but also integrates AI to predict project outcomes, suggest optimizations, and automate routine tasks, enhancing productivity and decision-making.

Design & User Experience: I personally handeled of all design and user experience, focusing on creating an intuitive and accessible interface. The design process involved extensive user research and testing, multiple versions, and a complete digital style guide which enabled a seamless experience for users.

Development & Collaboration: Working collaboratively with developers and vendors, I led the creation of both the prototype and the beta versions of the app. My involvement extended to hands-on front-end development, where I implemented the interactive elements of the app, ensuring that the design translated into a fluid experience without compromising on user engagement or functionality.

Fundraising and Investment: I successfully raised initial funding to cover company costs, supporting the development and beta phases. Currently, I am actively engaged in seeking additional funding from outside investors, presenting SuiteGig’s potential impact on the project management landscape and its promising growth trajectory.

The design of "The Greenhouse" revitalized a previously underused office into a dynamic space for creative collaboration. Named to reflect growth and innovation, this area features a sturdy concrete slab table under an Edison bulb, providing a warm, inviting glow ideal for brainstorming and strategic discussions.

A large blackboard wall enables real-time sketching and note-taking, enhancing the free flow of ideas, while a modern flat-screen display facilitates digital presentations and multimedia collaborations. These elements blend traditional and technological aspects, creating a multifunctional environment that encourages creativity and adapts to various team needs. The transformation of The Greenhouse offers a uniquely inspiring setting designed to nurture innovation.

Bisk Strategy

Part of my role at Bisk Education was to provide creative strategy as the brand matured and evolved. This involved 'selling' our strategy to stakeholders, creatives, and executives. I found a unique way to present ideas that seemed to work well at this particular organization.

This specific strategy doc revolved around the idea of mission, vision, and purpose. I wanted to create a high-level understanding of what our brand meant and how each team member could contribute to that meaning.
